Health & Safety
Hoad Scaffolding Ltd take Health and Safety very seriously when it comes to protecting our staff, customers, visitors, contractors and everyone that is in the surrounding area of the scaffolding erection. This is particularly important within public places where pedestrians are present. We ensure our team are fully trained and comply with all Health and Safety legislation and requirements associated with this; as well as ensure that ALL our staff are frequently updated with any changes to procedures or legislations in order to commit the best work possible in the safest way.
We ensure all of our scaffolds are inspected every 7 days by one of our qualified scaffold inspectors and all of our procedures are continuously monitored for improvement. We ensure our scaffold inspector provides full documentation of maintenance and inspection sheets for each job.
All our staff members are equipped with high quality PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), this is to enable them to carry out their work as safely as can be on the site. This includes the appropriate footwear, hard hats and safety visors.
We fully respect all legal requirements and obligations, particularly under the Health and Safety At Work Act 1974 and any other Health and Safety related legislation. The particular legislations and organizations we frequently follow are: Both The Work at Height Amendment Regulations 2007 and The Work At Height Regulations Act 2005; The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS); The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and The Health and Safety At Work Act 1974.
